Very friendly owners, very clean and family friendly. good vibes here, they keep place well maintained thank you to the owners you guys kick butt!!!

Harry the owner is always on site and goes to great lengths to take care of you , { he even helped me find a job ! } It's an Historical place and the folks here are so sweet , plus it's walking distance to shopping or a great meal & cocktail's ! Yucaipa is a little jewel of a place nestled up in the mountains , worth the drive and in moments one can be out in the pine trees up old HWY 38. It's a place with good vibes and lovely people . { Thank you Harry , got that job ! } Tammy

It's a historic (first motel in yucaipa) with noticable german architectual influences. The rooms and bathrooms are old, the only reason I gave it such a high rating is the owners are very good people, hospitable and gracious. The price, you can't do better than the weekly rate anywhere around here. Safety is not concern as the owners are very vigilant. Lastly, free Wi-Fi and HBO which works great. * I would suggest ice and ice buckets, but that's just me. They will give you what they have but they are so nice I feel bad asking everyday do I bought my own.

I had training seminar for work. The front desk was very helpful. The room was set really nice. we were well taken care of . Great motel I will definitely recommend to my friends and family. Manager was very helpful. Property was very well maintained. 3 MOTELS IN YUCAIPA .. this is a best one .. of course it’s a family friendly motel .

1. PROPERTY : compare to all other motels in city, this is the best property as its a small town, so no starred hotels, just have very few motels only. but among those, this is the best, i think. 2. STAFF : Manager or Owner i don't know who they are, but so calm, co-operative, caring and Friendly with all... 3. SERVICE : A very high speed Wi-Fi, HBO, clean rooms, clean bathrooms and mostly proving the best the can... 4. PRICE : We stayed there for 3 and a half week, but before that, we did visit to all other motels for prices and appearance and we found this sunset Motel with a nice appearance as well as very reasonable rates.

We have been at the sunset motel for a few days now and have had a really nice stay. The rooms are very cozy and clean. Management is very friendly and helpful and the people here are all pretty friendly... I would recommend the Sunset Motel to everyone !!!!!

It's really are there any down to earth environment it's more like apartments. it's the service from the front desk that is amazing. My mom and dad have been staying there for certain reasons at the moment, and my mother tends to be a little much, but the guy at the front desk his name is Josh, he is the best. He doesn't ever treat my mother like she's called too many times ,she does though. But he makes her feel like she hasn't called enough. And the late last night when I couldn't reach them on their phone, I called the front desk phone number, and even though I'm pretty sure he was already fast asleep after midnight, he got right up to go knock on their door and make sure they were okay. Didn't complain or anything. He didn't even hesitate. The service, it's so great,!thanks Josh!!

Always welcome and happy to take care of us on our travels and 3 years now we come back every time great owner

Very kind people, really clean rooms. Lil slack on the towels and toiletries. Over all was a great stay!

I want to say that the sunset has come a long way since 2016 grounds are very welcoming and the staff are like people out of a story book willing to help at all times day or night and for being a old motel the grounds and rooms are very clean the management are doing a great job of hiring people who care about their guest thank you for the great stay
